Madonna and Sam Smith: Listen to Vulgar now!

There have been rumors about a possible partnership between Madonna It is Sam Smith. The two pop icons have already shared photos on social media and Sam announced on his Instagram that a partnership between the two is coming.

Now, Madonna has released on her TikTok a teaser of the song, which by the beats seems to be quite lively. The name of the new hit is “Vulgar” and is scheduled to premiere on June 9th on digital platforms. See the teaser:

In the caption, the master queen of pop says: “GET DOWN ON YOUR KNEES #SAMANDMADONNA”which means “Get on your knees #Sam and Madonna”.

In another preview previously released by Sam, they sing: “You know you're pretty when they call you vulgar / I do what I want, I go out when I need to / I'm sexy, I'm free and I feel vulgar.” Showing that the song will likely counter the criticism that Sam and Madonna have received about their bodies and behaviors.

The announcement brings relief, as on May 24, Sam Smith posted on his Instagram that he would have a surprise for his fans at his show that would take place in Manchester, England, and that the song “Unholy” would not be the last to be presented, as usual.

Rumors immediately began that this surprise would be Madonna's participation in her show. Unfortunately, expectations were dashed, as the show had to be interrupted and the singer had to leave the stage after having a problem with his voice.

Sam managed to sing three songs, but he had vocal problems and left the stage, canceling the performance and later explaining what happened and apologizing on his Instagram.

And Madonna is going all out, as in addition to her partnership with Sam Smith, she is preparing for a world tour. “Celebration Tour”, in celebration of his 40-year career. The series of shows begins in Vancouver, Canada, on July 15th and there are rumors that it will come to Brazil in 2024. Fans can look forward to enjoying the new single with Sam and expecting performances on the tour.
