Madonna's producer says singer will come to Brazil by September

Producer William Orbit stated on his Instagram, this Monday (22), that Madonna should come to Brazil by September of this year, 2024. William worked with Madonna on the iconic album “Ray of Light”, from 1998, and wants to produce more with the singer; but the producer claimed that Madonna's visit to Brazil could hinder the project at this time.

In the lengthy caption of his post, Orbit highlighted that: “(…) with a tour until the fall, with Brazil now attached, that's unlikely. It's very difficult, doing every night and delivering everything.”

Celebration Tour

Madonna is on a tour to celebrate her 40th anniversary, “The celebration tour”, is currently being shown and is an absolute success in the United States, but there are already shows scheduled for other countries, such as Mexico. Rumors about the singer performing at Rock in Rio 2024 were already circulating among fans and the press, and after Orbit's post, the possibility seems even more real.

Producer dreams of family project

Orbit said in his post that he has been rummaging through his trunk, but Madonna has not done the same: “Madonna doesn't look back like that, really. She can release new hits at any time.”. He further reflected on how much he would like to produce a new “Ray of Light” with the diva and her children: “The hills are still alive with the sound of… Ciccone family”. He said, making a reference to the classic “The sound of music” (The Sound of Music), with Julie Andrews.

Brazil

Madonna was in Brazil for the first time in 1993, with the controversial tour “The girlie show”, from the album “Erotica”. On that occasion, she filled stadiums in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, where she even risked a few words in Portuguese, to the delight of the audience. The singer later returned to the country in 2008 (with the show “Sticky & Sweet) and in 2012 (with the show “MDNA”).
