Manchester City confirms arrival of Borussia Dortmund striker Haaland, Erling Haaland will make the switch to Manchester City next summer. The Premier League club confirms tuesday that an agreement has been reached with Borussia Dortmund about a transfer of the Norwegian striker.
The final details of the transfer are still being finalized with Haaland, who will then sign a multi-year contract with City.

The 21-year-old Haaland still has a contract until mid-2024 at Dortmund, but in that commitment is a buyout clause of 75 million euros. On Monday, various media already reported that City will meet that transfer fee and that the attacker would like to go to the English champion.
With Haaland, the leader in the Premier League has the desired striker. Last summer, ‘The Citizens’ made a serious attempt to release Harry Kane at Tottenham Hotspur, but the Londoners did not want to let their star player go.
Haaland is known as one of the best strikers in the world. The seventeen-time international of Norway has played 29 games for Dortmund so far this season and was good for 28 goals and 8 assists.

Haaland’s career began in his native country, where he played for Bryne FK and Molde FK. At the beginning of 2019, the striker was brought to Austria by Red Bull Salzburg, but that adventure lasted only a year due to his impressive numbers – Haaland scored 29 times in 27 games for Salzburg.
In January 2020, Haaland was caught by Dortmund, where he became a world-class player. His first season was immediately his best season: Haaland scored 41 times in as many games, crowned himself top scorer in the Champions League with 10 goals and won the DFB-Pokal with Dortmund.
This season Haaland missed a lot of games due to injuries and Dortmund can’t impress anyway. The ‘Borussen’ were eliminated relatively early in Europe, were eliminated in the eighth finals of the DFB-Pokal and played no role in the title battle.
