Maraisa asks God for strength to deal with the loss of Marília Mendonça

This Saturday (6), singer Maraísa made a post on Twitter asking God for strength to be able to deal with the pain of the loss of singer Marília Mendonça. Maraísa wrote: “Lord, give me strength because I know that this is my sister's wish. Lord, sustain me so that I may be a strength to those who need me.”. The singer also posted a photo of the ring with the infinity symbol that she and her sister received from Marília with the following caption: “Our infinity in eternity”.

The singers released the album “Patroas 35%” together on October 15th through the record label Som Livre and were already planning to start the project’s tour across the country in 2022. According to Marília: “We managed to show our work to the whole of Brazil, we have already achieved a lot, but the focus of Patroas is to show the 10-year friendship that unites us. It is like you can be next to a woman, either below or above her and still be with her all the time. We want to deliver our work to our fans and always leave this message: that there is no need to be afraid of another woman. Take her hand, grow together with her, it will be beautiful! And this is our story, it is ten years of friendship, many ups and downs, in our professional lives too and also… It really is a lot of history and we want to sing all of them.”.

According to the duo Maiara and Maraisa: “Look where we've come after ten years. Everything worked out, that's the story of Bosses that we want to tell. Today we are very sure that it is our lightness and our truth that will take us to incredible places and moments, like the ones we are experiencing now.”.

A remarkable moment that demonstrated the singers' unity took place in the early hours of October 23, when the Queen of Suffering appeared by surprise at the duo's show with two bouquets and two infinity rings and, kneeling on stage, invited the twins to dominate the world by her side. Unfortunately, after this tragic accident that resulted in the death of Marília Mendonça, it is still unknown what will happen to the project they were developing together.
