Maraisa talks about single life and abstinence from sex

Singer Maraisa joked with her fans by posting a photo in the dressing room of singer Murilo Huff's show. In the photo are the couples Cristiano, from the duo with Zé Neto and his wife Paula Vaccari, and also his sister Maiara, accompanied by Fernando, from the duo with Sorocaba. The couples appear kissing, while Maraisa appears to be kissing an invisible boyfriend. In the caption, the singer posted: “The bachelor does not have a day of peace”, ending with a clown emoji.

Recently, the singer caused a stir on social media after revealing in an interview with Léo Dias that she has not had sex for over a year: “I'm really slow. I think dating gets in the way of my creative process. Then I'm at home and the guy comes and says: 'Let's have dinner'. When at that moment I just wanted to be there listening to the music, receiving a composer, it bothers me. When I finished, I did it because it was taking up too much of my time, it was a time before Patroas”, said Maraisa.

The singer also revealed that she has spent more time without having a relationship: “I think dating gets in the way of my creative process. A year without kissing on the mouth, without having sex, or anything. I swear to God.” said Maraisa.

Maraisa recalled how her friend Marilia Mendonça dealt with her life position: “She would criticize me all day long: 'This way you're living isn't right.' She would say that, but at the same time she loved me, because she would come over to my house whenever she wanted, call me whenever she wanted.” said the singer.

The singer has been single since January 2021, when she ended her relationship that lasted about 3 months with doctor Arthur Queiroz do Amaral.

After the breakup, the singer had a few dates, one of which Maraísa even shared on social media about the unsuccessful date. In the post, Maraísa wrote: “Everything went wrong today. I went out to meet a boy, and I was just thinking about the other one. And since I am faithful to my thoughts, I left! Now I am in an eternal loop listening to Leonardo's 'I love you too much' for the tenth time.” said Maraisa.
