Márcio Poncio confirms Simone's hospitalization and talks about his ex-wife's health

Márcio Poncio used his Instagram to report that his ex-wife, Simone Poncio, had been hospitalized and said that she was being treated for excessive use of antidepressants. The couple had announced the end of their marriage in September of the previous year and sources claim that this may have been the cause of Simone's depression.

According to sources, Simone had fallen into a serious depression that began after her separation from Márcio, in September 2021. The couple had announced their separation in early February, but ended up getting back together days later. The pastor stated that he had fought to prevent the breakup from happening and explained that there was no betrayal, but that the relationship was not like before and that is why they decided to end it.
