Marília Mendonça's first posthumous project is announced

This Wednesday, the 20th, the social networks of singer Marília Mendonça (1995-2021) were updated with new arts for the launch of the EP “Royal Decrees”the artist’s first posthumous project.

Marília's team modified the artist's social media biography with the name of the new EP, “Royal Decrees”, changed their Instragram profile photo and, on Twitter, in addition to adding a new profile photo, they changed the cover photo.

According to journalist Léo Dias, from the website Metropolises, “Royal Decrees” It will be a compilation of projects carried out during her lifetime by Marília Mendonça. According to the journalist, re-recordings such as: “I Love You Too Much” (Zezé Di Camargo and Luciano), “It wasn’t supposed to be like this” (Zezé Di Camargo and Luciano), “Therefore” (Genivaldo Santos), “I love you, what else can I say” (Sheep) and “Very Strange” (Dalto), will be present in the project “Royal Decrees”.

The project's first EP will feature four songs taken from the lives performed by Marília and will be available at 9pm this Thursday (the day before the singer's birthday), the 21st, on streaming platforms.

After Marília Mendonça's death, new songs by other artists featuring Marília were released, such as: “50 percent” (Naiara Azevedo feat. Marília Mendonça), “I loved nothing” (Lucas Lucco feat. Marília Mendonça), “Badly Done” (Hugo and Thiago feat. Marília Mendonça), “Friends With Rights” (Dulce Maria feat. Marília Mendonça) among other tracks.
