Maroon 5 moves fans with the band's greatest hits

Today (7), on the third day of the festival, it was Maroon 5's turn to step onto the Skyline stage at The Town as the main attraction of the night, starting the show with the audience applauding and also the sound of instruments. Vocalist Adam Levine started singing “Moves Like Jagger”, bringing even more excitement to the audience after the hit began to play on stage, followed by the nostalgic “This Love” with Levine's performance on the guitar. The night brought together and mixed nostalgia and boldness with old and recent songs from the band.

“Stereo Hearts” came as the third song of the show and also had the first drum solo, making the audience vibrate. It didn’t take long for “Animals” to play, with Adam Levine howling at the beginning of the song. There’s no denying that the audience was very excited with the band’s big hits being played at The Town, and it was noticeable that not only they were happy, but the band was too. After they started a chorus of “uh-uh” and “yeah-yeah–yeah” led by Adam, the vocalist said something to the audience: “you have music in your soul” – “you have music in your soul”, in free translation”, adding “thank you”, saying right after that “thank you” is all he knows how to say in Portuguese. Adam was wearing an outfit all in denim tones, with a half-open denim shirt that revealed the musician’s style. The band gave the keyboardist space to sing a solo song, and he gave it his all when he sang.

When “Memories” started playing, the audience started the song independently, singing the beginning of it by themselves, bringing even more joy to Adam, who said that the audience singing like that after they had put the song out there and traveled hours to the show, was the best thing an artist could have. Soon it was time for “Girls Like You”, which excited the audience in an unbelievable way, being one of their biggest songs. Adam and the guitarist left for a quick change of clothes, returning with a Brazilian shirt on their bodies and bringing even more excitement. In addition, “She Will Be Loved” also brought emotions to the audience, and this time, tears rolled down the faces of the band's fans and the song.

Sugar ended the show with mastery, being one of, if not the band's most successful songs. At the end of the show, Adam Levine even took off the Brazilian t-shirt he was wearing, throwing it to the audience. In addition to all this, during the show, they also performed a song by Prince.
