Martin Scorsese Rene Actors Star for Groundbreaking Film

And between film announcements and trailers, the famous film director, Martin Scorsese, who is known for films such as The Irishman, The Wolf of Wall Street and Shutter Island, among many others, took to the stage to announce the trailer for his new film with Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro.

At 80 years old and nominated for 10 Oscars, Martin Scorsese makes a great duo with Leonardo DiCaprio, this partnership is not new today. The director has worked with DiCaprio on many other films: The Wolf of Wall Street, Shutter Island, The Departed, The Aviator, Gangs of New York… The list is immense.

And the same happens with Robert De Niro, they have worked together on the films The Irishman, Dangerous Roads, Taxi Driver, New York, New York, Raging Bull, The King of Comedy, Goodfellas, Cape Fear and Casino.

But this will be the first time that Scorsese has acted with both actors at the same time. He even talked about it when announcing the new film at the event:

“This will be the sixth time I have worked with Leonardo (DiCaprio) and the tenth time I have worked with Robert (De Niro). But it will be the first time I work with them at the same time.”

The trailer for his newest film, Killer Of the Flower Moon, was released this Thursday (27) at CinemaCon. The film is inspired by the book of the same name, by the author David Grann, and takes place in 1920 in Oklahoma, United States, telling the story of the murders of Native Americans from the Osage tribe due to disputes over oil in the region and the investigations to find those responsible for the crimes. The film has a budget of US$200 million! It has everything to work out.

Despite only arriving in cinemas on October 20th, it has also been confirmed that the premiere will take place at the Cannes Film Festival in May.

Directed by Martin Scorsese and written by Eric Roth, the film opens on October 20th in theaters, according to Apple Original Films, and will later be released on the Apple TV+ platform.

In addition to Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro, the cast is made up of Brendan Fraser, John Lithgow It is Lily Gladstone.
