Marvel announces release date!

This Monday (27), Marvel Studios, after much waiting, announced the premiere date of its new series Invasão Sereta. The new series will be the first in the recently launched Phase 5 of the MCU and according to Diney+ itself, Marvel's new production will arrive on streaming on June 21st.

Secret Invasion will center on Nick Fury, a character played by Samuel L. Jackson. And the date appeared to users on the series' social network, see below:

Secret Invasion will only have six episodes and will debut in the launch window, as announced during San Diego Comic-Con last year.

The new MCU series will star Samuel L. Jackson and adapts one of the biggest events in Marvel Comics, in which the Skrulls are infiltrated on Planet Earth. Nick Fury will discover the invasion in Captain Marvel, but the aliens at the time would not have had villainous ambitions.

Secret Invasion will have a more serious tone and a more political content and will also feature as part of the cast Olivia Colman who recently won the Oscar, Emilia Clarke from Game of Thrones, Don Cheadle from Captain America: Civil War, Cobie Smulders from How I Met Your Mothes and will also feature the return of Ben Mendelsohn who played Captain Marvel as Slrull Talos.

Recalling that the last appearance of Nick Fury, former head of SHIELD, took place in a post-credit scene in Spider-Man: Far From Homewhen it was revealed that Fury was exiled in space, while Talos assumed his identity on Earth. This will be the starting point of Nick Fury's new journey, as in the trailers released at San Diego Comi-Con, Fury returns to his home planet.

The new series from Phase 5 of the MCU, Secret Invasion premieres on June 21st on Disney+.
