Matheus and Kauan launch new DVD Basiquinho 2 with hits and special appearances

In recent months, Matheus and Kauan's fans have been treated to some of the hits from one of the most anticipated projects of the year, and now the wait for the full release is over.

This Thursday (24), the album “Basiquinho 2” becomes available on audio platforms from 9pm and the music video for the focus track, “Só Toca Quem Sabe”, arrives on YouTube the following day at 11am.

Composed by Felipe Arná, Normani Pelegrini, Renato Campero, Bagual and Cleyton Pekois, the song features lyrics with the traditional characteristics of country “suffering”, narrating, from a man’s point of view, the story of a woman who ends up in the life of parties and nights out, and when he begins to value the love he received, he realizes that it is already too late.

Recorded in January this year, in Fortaleza (CE), the duo's 11th DVD marks the second volume of “Basiquinho”, a project inaugurated by the success of “Pactos”, a musical partnership between the brothers and their friends Jorge & Mateus. With eight new tracks, the DVD featured strong performances from forró and country music. Namely: Mari Fernandez, Wesley Safadão and Xand Avião.

Following a weekly schedule, the music videos for the tracks “Bom Sinal”, “0 a 10” and “Muvuca” will be the next releases on YouTube. On the first three Thursdays of September, the filming can be seen from 11 am on the platform, through the duo's official channel.

Success

“Basiquinho 2” can now be considered a milestone in the singers’ careers and promises to reach even greater numbers in the main rankings, playlists and platforms across the country. In total, Matheus & Kauan, one of the biggest duos in the music industry today, has more than 7 billion combined views on YouTube, almost 12 million monthly listeners on Spotify and 13.8 million combined followers on social media.
