CNN carried out a survey on Google Trends about the medicine and the search showed that the search for “Ozempic Natural” was between March 24th and 30th of this year. Find out more about how the medicine is used for diabetics, and what the consequences are of using it without medical supervision.

Search for “Ozempic”

On the internet, searches for “Ozempic” increased in the last 12 months of the year, and in June 2023, the search reached around 38 points. This year, in June 2024, the sum reached 58 points. But what caught the most attention was that, between March 24th and 30th, 2024, the increase in demand for the medicine was much greater, reaching 100 points.

The most searched terms related to “Ozempic Natural” were “Ozempic natural works” and “Ozempic natural formula” which had a sudden growth. People also searched for “Ozempic for poor people”, “Ozempic natural recipe” and “Ozempic natural”, which both saw growth of 3,550%, 1,500% and 1,150% respectively.

Ozempic Natural

The drug “Ozempic” is used to treat people with type 2 diabetes, which was developed by the pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk. The medicine's main component is “semaglutide”, which is a GLP-1 hormone analogue, which is responsible for directly acting on insulin secretion in the pancreas, which helps regulate blood glucose levels. The medicine caught people's attention because it is also a weight loss method, as the molecule helps to delay gastric emptying, which promotes a greater feeling of satisfaction.

“Ozempic” has a high cost, and for this reason, people have been looking for other natural alternatives such as “Psyllium” (which is a soluble fiber found in seed husks of the Pantago ovata plant). And searches increased by 800% in the last 12 months of the year. However, experts that CNN heard said that “Psyllium” even has properties that improve intestinal regularity and satiety, but there is no scientific evidence that shows its effectiveness in weight loss. “Berberine” was another alternative that the population sought and which had an increase of more than 850%. However, using the treatment without having spoken to a doctor can pose health risks, which include poisoning, liver damage and medication.
