Megan and MGK Reveal Details of the Night They Met

The couple spoke about the, to say the least, curious experience they had on the day they met in an interview. The two met for the first time in 2020, during the filming of the film 'Midnight in the Switchgrass' (2021), but before that, they had spoken at a party in Los Angeles.

“A strange thing happened. We didn’t see each other. Do you remember?” [ver] my face?”Megan asked him about when they met. “That’s crazy; I don’t remember. I don’t remember [de ter visto] your face,” Kelly replied.

“I just remember this tall, blonde, ghostly creature. I looked up and was like, ‘You smell like weed.’ He looked at me and was like, ‘I am weed.’ Then, I swear to God, he disappeared like a ninja with a smoke bomb.” says Megan. The actress claims to have her own theory about what happened: “I don’t think we were allowed to see each other yet. We weren’t supposed to meet that night, so our souls, our spirit guides, were taking us away from each other, because you literally had no face; like that thing [do filme] 'Spirited Away'. It's hard to see the face [de Kelly] in general, but in truth: he had no face that night”.

And she finished looking at her boyfriend: “Thank God, what torture it would be to know you were there and not be able to reach you. It was better that I didn’t know.”.

When talking about the two's relationship, Kelly wanted to make it clear that it's not perfect: “It’s ecstasy and agony for sure… I don’t want people to think that nothing is perfect with us. I didn’t say it was the darkest fairy tale for no reason.” A month after Megan divorced Brian Austin Green, she announced her relationship with Machine Gun Kelly in July 2020. The actress also said on a podcast that she had a hunch about her current boyfriend when she found out who she would be starring alongside.

“I felt like something crazy was going to happen to me at this meeting. I felt something, like, deep down in my soul, that something was going to come out of this.”. Furthermore, she also emphasized: “A twin flame is when a soul has reached a high enough level to be split into two bodies. So we are two halves of the same soul, I guess. And I told him that almost immediately, because I felt it right away.”
