Mila Kunis Reveals Cast of New Fantastic Four

The fans of Marvel moved social networks after rumors emerged about the new film by “Fantastic Four”. Ukrainian actress and model Mila Kunis was the subject of speculation after having lunch with the director of the new adaptation, Matt Shakman (“Wandavision”). According to fans, because of this lunch, there was a possibility that the actress would be part of the cast.

Mila Kunis participated in the program “The Late Late Show“, by the British James Cordenlast Thursday (27), alongside the actor Patrick Stewart – who has also participated in Marvel productions, the most recent being “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”in which he continued to give life to the telepath Professor Charles Xavier.

During the program, the presenter asked the actress about the rumors that were circulating on the internet. When asked, Kunis responded:

“Apparently, if you have lunch with someone who is also in the industry, you start to work together”he said. “I'm not in the Fantastic Four, but I know who is”he concluded. Unfortunately, that was all the actress revealed. According to her, she couldn't give more information, as she didn't want to get in trouble with Disney. “But I don't want any problems with the mouse (in reference to Mickey) so none of you will find out.”. Scheduled to launch in 2025, the new “Fantastic Four” will be the fourth adaptation of the franchise, only this time within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The first two films, “Fantastic Four” (2005) and “Fantastic Four and the Silver Surfer” (2007), both produced by 20th Century Foxhad sequels planned. However, the second film was a box office disappointment, which led to the cancellation of the potential third film and the Silver Surfer spin-off.

In 2009, the Fox announced a reboot of the franchise. With direction from Josh Trank (“Unlimited Power”), the new adaptation generated great expectations among the public, especially among fans who expected something more faithful to the comics. The film, released in 2015, was a failure not only with critics but also with the public.

Already in “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” (2022), the only one who appeared was Reed Richards. Played by the actor John Krasinskithe leading character of the quartet of heroes was a version from another universe within the film and one of the members of the Illuminati council, alongside Professor Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart).

In 2019, The Walt Disney Company bought the 20th Century Fox and acquired the rights to “Fantastic Four”.

Currently scheduled for release on February 14, 2025, “Fantastic Four” will have a script Josh Friedman (“Avatar: The Path of Water”) and direction of Matt Shakman (“Wandavision”). Filming for the film will begin in 2024 and the cast has not yet been revealed.
