Moon Knight: new trailer released

The Disney+ streaming platform, in partnership with Marvel Cinematic Universe, released a new teaser for the series “Moon Knight”, featuring Oscar Isaac (Steven Grant) as the main character. The series will not have any connection to the current MCU films and series, as its plot has a supernatural content.

During interviews for The Direct, among the information released by executive producer Grant Curtis, it was confirmed that the series promises to build a character in an isolated way, identical to the film “Iron Man”, released in 2008.

Grant Curtis has spoken out.“What we’ve done with the Moon Knight series is open up the mystical mythology of the Marvel universe that, up until now, hasn’t had much to do with the current MCU. He’s a brand-new character in a brand-new adventure that we really think fans are going to enjoy because we’re absolutely embracing the supernatural aspects of the source material, the belief system around Khonshu, as well as the rituals of the Egyptian gods and especially how he influences Marc Spector to do his bidding.”he added.

The executive producer also commented on the series opening up several possibilities, getting closer to the MCU that the public has not yet seen. “There are several aspects of the 'Moon Knight' series that leave everyone excited and curious in the Marvel world. And one of those characters that is similar is the one from the feature film 'Iron Man'”said.

The series “Moon Knight” belongs to the genres of adventure, drama, fantasy and action. Its official synopsis is the story of the main character, played by Marc Spector, who ends up suffering an accident and loses his friends, coming close to death. During this period, he is rescued and taken to a temple with Egyptians, where the gods offer him a second chance at life.
