Naïma Rodric reveals that she was hospitalized,
Left for a few months from “Un si grand soleil” to shoot a film with Olivier Marchal, the actress Naïma Rodric was the victim of a heavy unforeseen event on a film set. During an interview with “Télé 7 Jours”, the pretty brunette tells why she was hospitalized.
In October 2021, the news had the effect of a bomb. Naïma Rodric announced her departure from the series Un si grand soleil, after three years playing the character of Lucille Salama. This was a departure that no one had seen coming, let alone the actress herself.
Indeed, for Télé Star, she explained that she found herself “in a dead end” with the production of the fiction of France 2 because of a new professional project that she had accepted in parallel.
Naïma Rodric has indeed joined the cast of Olivier Marchal’s new film entitled Overdose. The feature film is adapted from the novel Mortels Trafics by Pierre Pouchairet (Editions Fayard) and is produced by Gaumont and Amazon.
It was then a golden opportunity for the pretty Belgian of 27 years even if the shooting was synonymous with health problems for her.
This is what she revealed during an interview for Télé 7 jours. “I was still very sick on set. I didn’t know it but I was having acute appendicitis with peritonitis,” she said. Naïma Rodric even had to be hospitalized.
“Luckily, it was during the days when I wasn’t working. But it took me a month of recovery because it was quite violent,” added Alexandre Varga’s sweetheart.

Naïma Rodric nevertheless decided to draw positive lessons from this painful experience. “It fueled an even more intense thing and it makes you want to fight. T
his is where we also realize that the body is very important so we have even more desire to take care of ourselves, to play sports, to be in fact always operational at the time when we are going to be offered a casting with a role that may be physical, “she learned. And to continue: “It also allowed me to relativize in relation to many things so I think it’s important“.
Naïma Rodric promises today to “go a little softer” to preserve her mind as well as her body. “It’s pretty positive I think,” she concluded.
