Nakagima apologizes online after giving her opinion on Yasmin Brunet's affairs

Flávio Nakagima, 36, spoke out on social media this Thursday (26), after model Yasmin Brunet, 35, responded to a comment he made, mocking his love life.

With a tone of irony, the surfer made a joke about Yasmin's affairs. The model then countered the athlete's comment, accusing him of being sexist and offensive in his allegations. Nakagima did not hesitate to apologize for what happened, explaining himself and giving his version of the incident.

Nakagima began by commenting on the time when Yasmin and surfer Gabriel Medina had a relationship, and that he, in particular, was a very close personal friend of his colleague, seen with bad eyes by the model. “I'm not disrespecting, I'm not being sexist, I'm not offending anyone. I just wanted to make a comment, because at the time she started dating, I was seen as bad company, a bad friend…”explained the surfer.

Judged as a bad influence by Yasmin, for always being surrounded by women when he was in Medina's company, Nakagima made a point of apologizing. “If I were her, I would do even worse. I only made a comment because at the time she started dating, I was the person she is now. She's absolutely right, I don't want to offend anyone…”he declared. “Sorry for the people who were offended, sorry for the people who like her. I didn't mean to offend”concluded Nakagima.

Apology

The surfing athlete continued stating that everyone has their own life and explaining to the other names mentioned in the comment that generated all the conflict.

Apologizing through a video posted on his social network, Nakagima said that he had no intention of disrespecting MC Daniel, a singer of whom he says he is a fan, and that they had recently spoken and met on the internet. “I want to apologize to the fans, whoever follows him, I have no misunderstanding with him, I have nothing to do with the situation. May he be happy”he concluded.

The beginning of the conflict

Flávio Nakagima, a personal friend of Gabriel Medina, ex-husband of Yasmin Brunet, came to light on social media this Thursday (26) and did not mince words when citing the model's recent affairs.

“This one is more on stage than the actors Xamã, Ret, Luan Santana and MC Daniel. That's because, at the time, I was bad company because I got caught in general. Oh, oh”said the surfer.

Yasmin didn't take long to respond to Nakagima's comment directly in her Instagram stories, confessing that she has been frequently publicly attacked by the surfer, through ironic and offensive messages regarding her intimate life. “His opinion matters little to me, but it saddens me to know that, in 2023, women are being judged for their options and choices…”he vented. The model, who spoke about the fight for female empowerment over the years, finally ended her message demanding respect.
