Natalie Portman revives Dior’s historic dress at the Cannes Film Festival

Natalie Portman did not disappoint those waiting for her on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival. The actress stole the show when she arrived for the film’s premiere. May December on a historical Dior model.

Many designs in the collection are named after Roman gods. The model that Natalie Portman he wore is called Junon, a tribute to the queen of Olympus, wife of Jupiter and goddess related to fertility and marriage. The deity also names the month of June.

Natalie Portman’s homage to the original dress recreates the embroidered tulle petals, which brings a lot of elegance and style to the composition.

On the original model, everything was hand-embroidered by maison Rebé, from Christian Dior’s friends Réné and Andrée Bégué.
