And, man, things are going to be crazy! There will be dragons, tribes, top warriors and, of course, lots of action for us to lose hours in the grind.

To begin with, Natlan is that nation that is about to Genshin just like Akuma is about to Street Fighter: full of power and ready to beat up anyone who hesitates. In fact, Natlan is known as the War Nationand if the name didn't give you a clue, you'd better start training, because only those who have the knack of landing some accurate combos and still posing at the end will survive here.

Enough is enough, breaking everything! As soon as you step foot in Natlan, you will be faced with an atmosphere of controlled chaos, where each tribe wants to show who is in charge. There are six tribes in total, each with their own quirks and styles, but what really catches your attention are the Saurians – some dragons that evolved to get along with humans and that, honestly, look like they came straight out of a crossover between Monster Hunter and How to Train Your Dragon. I have no doubt that soon people will be making fanart of these animals, mixing them with some characters from Final Fantasy just to be funny.

So, separate your best build and paste it there! Natlan will have that scheme teleport naughty, so even if you're still playing well in the early areas, you can already take a little stroll there. Now, if you're one of those who've already been through Mondstadt, Liyue and the like, you can start preparing yourself mentally for some tough battles, like those in Dark Souls where the only certainty you have is that you'll die about 20 times before you get the hang of it.

Now, speaking of the characters… Check out these new badasses who will accompany you on your journey. First, there's Kachina, who already comes in humble as a 4-star character, but don't be fooled, because this girl is good with a Geo Spear and has some attacks that, if you hesitate, you'll end up crying to revive later. She's the type who climbs cliffs as if she were climbing Ubisoft's towers in Assassin's Creedonly with more adrenaline.

Then there's Kinich, a hunter who looks like a character straight out of a Marvel action movie. He uses a big sword and Dendro, but what really shines is his companion, Ajaw, a little dragon who breathes sinister fire at enemies. The guy practically transformed parkour from Mirror's Edge in art, with acrobatic moves that would make even Spider-Man rethink his career.

Finally, there's Mualani, who is like the queen of Natlan water sports. She's powerful and stylish, using a catalyst and the power of Hydro, and best of all: she can surf anywhere with her Shark board. That's right, kid! Forget those little boards from Tony Hawk's Pro Skaterbecause the vibe here is different. And when she decides to enter combat, get out of the way, because she can bite her enemies while surfing.

And it doesn't stop there. The three new characters have some skills that will make your life easier in Natlan. Kachina will help you save stamina, Kinich is the guy to go to when you need a Phlogiston boost – which, by the way, is like the Red Bull from Natlan – and Mualani increases the speed of the entire team, which is perfect for those who like to farm quickly and with style.

Oh, and I almost forgot: the new Archon quest starts at the Sacred Flame Stadium. If you want to show that you're the king of trouble, you'll need to be at Adventure Rank 30 and have completed the Liyue quests. It's like that scheme Elden Ring: Only those who already know what they're getting into can enter. Natlan's warriors have to master Phlogiston and the Saurians' abilities to survive. It's not for everyone, but that's the fun of it, right? If it were easy, it wouldn't be fun.

And if you thought HoYoverse was going to go easy on us…you're very wrong. Get your wallet ready, because there will be prayer events with the new characters – Mualani and Kachina in the first phase, and then Kinich and the legendary Shogun Raiden in the second. Yeah, man, there's going to be that famous “just one more time” on the banner, and before you know it, it's over… your salary has gone down the drain. But at least you'll have some awesome characters in your inventory, right?

Now, before we wrap up, let's take a look at the franchise's history: Genshin Impact arrived in 2020, when no one expected much from a free-to-play game. With a mix of RPG, action, and a gigantic open world, it made people forget that the world was on fire and get lost in the adventures of Teyvat.
