Netflix Revisit the First Official Images!

Announced in 2019 by Netflix, the live-action version of the famous anime 'Cowboy Bebop' Almost a year passed without new information, as the series star Jon Cho (Star Trek) suffered an accident during filming and production was halted for nine months until the actor fully recovered.

After this scare, the streaming platform announced this Monday (23) that the series arrives on November 19th to the original catalog and also released a series of official images of the looks of the protagonists Spike Spiegel (Cho), Jet Black (Mustafa Shakir) and Faye Valentine (Daniella Pineda). Inspired by the manga of the same name released in 1997 in Japan, 'Cowboy Bebop' mixes action, science fiction and western, quickly became one of the most famous animes in the world and had 52 episodes and a feature film. In the plot, set in 2071, a group of bounty hunters travel through space hunting for their next jobs.

Jon Cho is Spike Spiegel, a tenacious bounty hunter with an unusual skill in martial arts. Mustafa Shakir (Luke Cage) plays Jet Black, a former police officer who mentors the protagonist and is always ready for a fight. Daniella Pinedo (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom) is Faye Valentine, a cunning bounty hunter who in the anime has already faced Spike and Jet, but ended up joining them.

The first two chapters of the series will be directed by Alex Garcia Lopez (Daredevil), and in total, 10 episodes will be released, each approximately one hour long. The script for the episodes was written by Christopher Yost (Thor: Ragnarok), and the creator of the anime, Shinichiro Watanabe, will act as creative consultant for the live-action. In addition, Yoko Kanno, the composer of the acclaimed anime soundtrack, will return to compose the melodies for the Netflix series.
