Netflix’s Gears of War movie – Netflix has announced that John Spaihts, most recently known for his work on Dune and Doctor Strange, will pen the Gears of War movie it will produce.
“Gears of War is one of the best action games of all time, with vivid characters, a beautifully designed world and a combat system that showcases the lethality of war and the importance of supporting your squadmates. It wants to be a movie and I’m thrilled to have the chance to help make that happen,” said Spaihts.

Gears of War developer The Coalition called Spaihts “a master storyteller”. She will also be involved in the film project as a producer.As they have only now found a screenwriter for the feature, it is certain that it will take a few more years for the film to be ready.🫡
