Nicki Minaj and her husband charged with harassment
Pop star Nicki Minaj and her husband Kenneth Petty are being sued by Jennifer Hough, Petty’s rape victim. She claims Minaj tried to bribe and intimidate her, TMZ reports .

Petty was convicted in New York in 1995 of attempting to rape Hough. The 38-year-old star’s husband was arrested in March 2020 for moving to California with Minaj but failing to register as a sex offender there. By confessing that he had not registered, he escaped a prison sentence.
New legal documents now show that Hough claims Minaj offered to fly her and her family to Los Angeles in March 2020 in exchange for withdrawing her rape claims.

Hough says she refused, and she and her family were intimidated several times. She was also allegedly offered bribes and the rap star allegedly hired lawyers who pressured her to withdraw her claims.
The victim says she has had to move because of these threats and fears for her safety. She is suing Minaj and Petty for intentionally inflicting emotional stress, intimidation and witness intimidation.
