Oasis tour could come to Brazil in 2025

According to NME Magazine, the renowned British rock band Oasis plans to include Brazil on their tour “Live 25” which will take place in 2025. There has still been no official confirmation from the band.

Oasis tour “Live 25” Its start date is scheduled for July 2025 and will cover several countries on different continents, including the United States, Mexico, South Korea, Japan and Australia. According to sources from NME Magazine, an American news outlet, the band is planning to perform at three shows in South America, including in São Paulo, Brazil. The other two shows would be held in Argentina and Chile.

The tour will mark the band's first live show since 2009, when one of its members, Noel Gallagher, left the band. That same year, the band performed shows in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Curitiba and Porto Alegre.

If the show in São Paulo is confirmed in 2025, it will be the band's first performance in 15 years on Brazilian soil. The show is expected to take place at the end of the tour.

Meet the band Oasis

The band originated in the city of Manchester, England, in 1994, with their first album, “Definitely Maybe”was released that same year and quickly achieved great success, even remembered as one of the debut albums with the highest sales figures in history.

In 1991, Liam Gallagher was invited to join the band The Rain as a vocalist. Even with great effort from the members, the band was unable to achieve the desired success, at this point Liam suggested that the band change its name to Oasis.

After watching a performance by the band, Liam's brother, Noel also decides to join the band and starts to contribute with his compositions, which soon begins to attract the public's attention.

The group's first performance in Brazil was at Rock in Rio in 2001.
