On the “Late Late Show”, Billie Eilish recalls the beginning of her career

The young singer Billie Eilish had the experience of watching her career grow dramatically in a very short time. In less than three years as a singer, Billie is already recognized worldwide, in addition to having several Grammys. She was part of the most recent episode of “The Late Late Show With James Corden”, on Monday night (27). In the show, Billie talks about her small beginnings compared to the honor of headlining Glastonbury, the second biggest open-air festival in the world. Her first show as a main singer was for around 130 people, in 2017.

“It was truly magical. And that night, it was just the most incredible thing. I think we only had seven songs total… We played every song we wrote, my brother and I. And I remember the audience of 100 people singing 'Ocean Eyes'. After the show, I met with every person who was there”, recalled the singer.

Obviously, it would be very difficult – cordially not to say impossible – to achieve the same kind of affection with the fans, after all, with its tens of thousands of attendees, Glastonbury is no joke. The weekend's festival had as main attractions, in addition to Billie Eilish, some very big and respected names in the music industry, such as icons Paul McCartney and rapper Kendrick Lamar, who released a new album not long ago. Today, Billie can look back on her career and calmly realize that people continue to sing her songs together.

“I really miss meeting everyone. If you tried to hug everyone at Glastonbury, you'd still be hugging people when, like, the next show starts the following week.”joked the singer.

At the moment, Billie Eilish travels the world with her “Happier Than Ever Tour”, enchanting practically the same number of people as she enchanted at the festival. Most of the dates have already been sold out. Now, we can only watch the young star’s next steps.
