On the program “Conversa com Bial”, Gloria Groove talks about her inspiration when creating the single “A Queda”

On Friday night (01), presenter and journalist Pedro Bial spoke on his program 'Conversa com Bial”, with singer Gloria Groove. During the interview, the drag queen spoke about various moments in her career, such as the friendship she has with Pabllo Vittar. She also talked about her inspiration for composing one of the hits from the album “Lady Leste”, the song “A Queda”.

In the program, the singer talks about her work with the media since she was little, and that it was one of the factors that inspired her to compose the song. “Because I worked with images from a very early age, I was precociously taken over by this constant feeling that everything around you is waiting for a slip-up.“, he reported.

Gloria Groove remembers that the sensation first came from her impression as an audience member. “The first fall of fascination with something so strong, which is this collective hatred, the riot, almost led me to reflect on 'is this really what everyone is waiting for? Will nothing be as pleasurable as a moment of vulnerability?'” she recalled.

However, the singer decided to include the view of those watching in the single, as a “public fall” can become a media spectacle. “I tried to talk about this fact from the outside, as someone who is watching and considering all this a real spectacle.”, he said.

She adds that using the circus theme was the first idea that came to mind during the process of creating the song. “It's no surprise that the soul of the song came from my desire to embody this 'MC' persona, the arena.
