“Oppenheimer” wins in the “Best Soundtrack” category

The big night has arrived! Today (10) the 96th Oscar ceremony is taking place, the most important and traditional award in the world of cinema. The award takes place directly from Los Angeles, United States, and started earlier than usual, at 8 pm, Brasília time. In Brazil, the broadcast can be watched on the pay TV channel, TNT, and via streaming Max (formerly HBO Max).

Best Soundtrack

“Oppenheimer” won the Oscar for Best Original Score. The soundtrack was composed in just five days, and is performed by an orchestra led by Ludwig Göransson, known for the soundtracks of productions such as “Creed“ and “Black Panther.” The absence of percussion instruments did not hinder the songs that accompany the film during its three hour duration.

The film, directed by Christopher Nolan, is the leader in nominations at this year's Oscars. The production, which tells the story of the creator of the atomic bomb, has already won in the “Best Editing” and “Best Supporting Actor” categories, and competes in the “Best Direction”, “Best Actor” and “Best Film” categories.
