The Oscars 2022 winners

The 94th Academy Awards unveiled its winners on March 27, 2022 from Los Angeles. The academy has decided to crown the film “CODA”, adaptation of the great French success “La Famille Bélier” with in particular the Oscar for best film, while the best actor and actress are Will Smith (“The Williams Method”) and Jessica Chastain (“In Tammy Faye’s Eyes”).

More than a month after announcing its nominations , the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences presented during the evening of the 94th Academy Awards this Sunday , March 27, 2022 all the awards, from the Dolby Theater in Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles.

The film The Power of the Dog by Jane Campion , a big favorite with 12 nominations, notably won the Oscar for best director out of its 12 nominations. 

But it ‘s the remake of The Bélier Family, which won the prize for best film! This feature film directed by Siân Heder and co-produced by Frenchman Philippe Rousselet also won what it was also nominated for: the award for best actor in a supporting role for Troy Kotsur and that of best adaptation.

American superstar Will Smith was rewarded for his performance in the film which looks back on the fate of tennis women Serena and Venus Williams, The Williams Method , while Jessica Chastain was crowned best actress for her performance of In the eyes of Tammy Faye .
