Pablo Marçal is indicted by the PF for a false report during the elections

This Friday (8), Pablo Marçal (PRTB), who came in third place in the 2024 elections for the Mayor of São Paulo, was indicted for using a false document. On that occasion, Marçal presented a report adulterated in an attempt to prove his accusations against his political opponent, Guilherme Boulos, from PSOL.

The republican appeared today at the Regional Superintendence of the Federal Police in São Paulo, spending approximately three hours there giving testimony. To the authorities, Marçal denied his participation in the incident and stated that the document was posted by his team.

Fake document

Pablo Marçal was indicted due to a false report posted on his social networks at the time of the elections, which supposedly proved his accusation that Guilherme Boulos used drugs, specifically cocaine. On October 7th, the PF examined the document and found it to be inauthentic. It was also proven that the signature of the health professional who validated the report, doctor José Roberto de Souza, was also false, considering that José Roberto passed away in 2022. The owner of the clinic, Luiz Teixeira da Silva Junior, was also indicted in the process. It is worth remembering that there is evidence that proves the close relationship between Marçal and Luiz Teixeira.

Expert conclusion

It was already known to everyone that the document was untrue, especially taking into account the irrefutable flaws contained in its structure. However, with the results of the examination carried out on October 7th, it was confirmed that it had been tampered with. According to the experts responsible for analyzing the authentication, the medical report posted by Marçal was proven to be false. The experts stated that there was no similarity between the doctor's original signature and that presented on the document. They concluded by reiterating the fraudulence of the report and highlighted that the facts prove that the documents analyzed were signed by different people.

Doctor's daughter's opinion

According to Dr. Aline Garcia Souza, her father never worked at the health unit that supposedly served Boulos to issue the medical certificate, the Mais Consulta clinic, and never in his life worked as a psychiatrist, a specialty described in the document.

In an interview with TV Globo, Aline stated that she did not understand the reasons that led those involved in producing the false document to use her father's CRM. He also highlighted the fact that his father was never involved in politics, and that he finds it unacceptable to use the name of someone deceased, who has no right of defense.

So far, Federal Deputy Guilherme Boulos has not commented on the matter.
