Pamela Anderson adopts a fringe look

Last Sunday (8), Pamela Anderson appeared with a new look during the promotion of “The Last Showgirl”, a film directed by Gia Coppola, in which she plays the character Shelly. Consecrated as a beauty icon of the 90s, she had been adopting a more natural, makeup-free style, and has now debuted a new haircut with bangs.

Clean style

The 57-year-old actress chose straight bangs, cut above the eyebrow, with slightly longer sides, a style very different from the relaxed and voluminous cut she wore during her “Baywatch” days. The cut is versatile and sophisticated, helping to bring a touch of rejuvenation to your appearance. With this change, Pamela demonstrates that she is not afraid of transformations, after all, she has also adopted a makeup-free lifestyle in recent years.

The decision was a tribute to her longtime makeup artist, Alexis Vogel, who passed away in 2019 due to cancer. “She was the best. Since then, I felt that without Alexis, it's better for me not to wear makeup,” Pamela said in an interview with Elle.

After years away from the spotlight, focusing on more intimate projects, the actress keeps her word and continues with her natural look. She continues to choose not to wear makeup at events, such as awards shows and fashion weeks, including during the promotion of the film that earned her a nomination for the 2025 Golden Globe in the Best Actress in a Drama category.

New beginnings

In the film, Pamela plays a Las Vegas dancer who has to deal with the abrupt end of her career after 30 years on stage, facing difficulties in moving on after having dedicated so much time to the profession.

In a recent interview with People, Pamela expressed her gratitude for the nomination and dedicated the achievement to her family, colleagues and everyone involved in the production of The Last Showgirl: “It's never too late to dream, start over, be open to possibilities. Not everyone is that lucky.”

With or without bangs, straight or wavy, Pamela has worn different hairstyles over the years. She was once brunette, adopted a short cut and, now, reinvents herself once again. Pamela's new cut, more than just a fringe, is a reminder that changes are always welcome.
