Paris contract paves the way for an international career

João Gomes, a 20-year-old singer from Pernambuco, was in Paris, France, this Wednesday (28) to sign his first international contract with the music distributor Believewhich will be responsible for and have exclusive rights to promote the artist's work. The global partnership will be in conjunction with Top Eventos and Tapajós Produções, companies that have already managed the singer's career, which has been on the road for just over a year.

Very happy with the opportunity to show the world his music and his story, the artist from the Northeast took the opportunity to share the moment of the signing on his official Instagram profile and also thank the support of his fans and followers.

The singer took the opportunity to show a little of his culture and explained to the CEO and Founder of Believe, Denis Ladegaillerie, what Pega de Boi and Vaquejada are. It is worth mentioning that Believe welcomed a Brazilian artist to its headquarters for the first time. After performing two major shows in his career, one during the recording of his first DVD, held at Marco Zero in Recife, Pernambuco, and the other at Arena Itaú, one of the biggest music festivals, Rock in Rio, where he gathered a variety of fans right after singer Justin Bieber finished his performance on the Festival's Palco Mundo, Paris is a big dream come true for the artist born in the city of Serrita, in the state of Pernambuco.

João's itinerary also includes a visit to the world headquarters of the global platform streaming of music Deezera long-time partner of his. The singer recently released the first single from his DVD “Acredite”, the track “Eu Tenho a Senha”, which was chosen because it is well known by the public. The DVD features twenty more songs and special appearances by Vanessa da Mata, Tarcisio do Acordeon, Vitor Fernandes, Yara Tchê, Raimundo Fagner and L7NNON.
