Paul McCartney announces shows in five Brazilian capitals in 2023

To the delight of his fans, the global rock star, Paul McCartneyaged 81, announced this Monday (7) through his social media profile that he will return to Brazil after 4 years, bringing his new tour, titled “Got Back”. As announced, the singer will make a brief visit to five different capitals and, as his flagship, Brasília will be the former Beatles' first destination, scheduled to take place at the end of November. In December, the artist will alternate between the cities of São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, Curitiba and Rio de Janeiro.
Brazilian fans were already waiting for the official announcement since the journalist José Norberto Fleschknown for its accurate information about the music scene, exclusively announced a week ago the British musician's arrival in Brazil later this year.

Through a relaxed video, Paul McCartney appears smiling in response to requests from Brazilian internet users, the post in question responds to one of the comments from a fan who wrote “Come to Brasilll” followed by love emojis and country flags.
To the press, the star said: “I have good news. We are returning to Brazil in November to play for you. We have great memories from all our visits to the country. I love going to Brazil because you like rock, singing and partying at the same time. We are very excited. Let's have fun. Let's rock. Let's go for a walk. Brazil, let's have a lot of fun!”.
The dates were agreed, initially on Brasilia on November 30th, at Arena BRB, Mané Garrincha, Then it will be time to Minas Geraisin the recently opened MRV Arena, in Belo Horizonte on December 3rd, also in the same month it will be São Paulo and Curitiba which will receive the presence of the ex-Beatles between the 9th and 13th, and to close the concert season, the singer disembarks at Maracanã, Rio de Janeiroon December 16th.
Ticket pre-sales start tomorrow (8) at 10 am, while general sales will be on Thursday (10) on the website. Eventim, interested parties can guarantee them online or by going to one of the accredited points of sale. The price list varies between R$150 and R$990 depending on the location.
A week ago, the British musician had announced the return of his tour that began last year. The first published dates indicated performances in Australia between October and November, but the show has already toured other countries, such as the United States and England, in 2022.
Paul McCartney's return on national soil
With an established artistic career, Paul McCartney continues to be one of the most emblematic figures on the world music scene, and now returns to Brazil for the tenth time, his last visit was in 2019 when he performed in São Paulo and Curitiba.

Furthermore, the musician shows his great appreciation for the country when in 1993 he performed a free show at Pedreira Paulo Lemiski, in Curitiba, in celebration of the city's 300th anniversary. McCartney has also presented the country with a song titled “Back in Brazil”which was performed on his tour in 2017, the singer still makes references to this song in his announcement of the “Got Back Tour” across the country.
