Pequena Lo exposes ableist comments made about her on the internet

At 27 years old, Lorrane Silva, aka Pequena Lo, exposed ableist comments made about her through Instagram groups. The influencer appeared in stories in the early hours of this Tuesday (14), to talk about the subject.

According to Lo, people in the group were at a party she was also at, and made fun of her for going to the place with the motorized tricycle, which she always uses to get around.

“Disrupting the party with that cart”

According to exposed messages, one of the internet users said that she was not interested in taking a photo with Lo because she considers her boring. Furthermore, she reported that the influencer was “disrupting” the environment with the cart moving up and down, making one internet user laugh. Another person told the others that Lorrane could see the messages as she was in the group.

Then, one participant said he would remove her from the group, so she couldn't see the messages, while another said: “Take it off quickly, but she won't see it. Praying.” However, the comedian wrote that the prayer was weak, as she had seen the messages. In addition to seeing, she was able to take prints.

Little Lo speaks out through stories

The influencer reported on Instagram that she has already spoken directly to some people who mocked her and highlighted that this is not a simple joke, but an ableist term.

Despite not having revealed the names of the people, she said that the internet user who started the topic works at a large company in São Paulo, responsible for talking about important issues and ended by saying that she was happy not to see them at the party since she prefers to keep his distance from people like that.
