Perfect Love: Orlando is a victim of racism

It is written by Duca Rachid, Júlio Fischer and Elisio Lopes Jr., freely inspired by the novel “Marcelino Pão e Vinho” (1953), by the Spanish writer José María Sánchez Silva. The direction is by Alexandre Macedo, Lúcio Tavares, Joana Antonaccio and Larissa Fernandes. Artistic direction is signed by André Câmara. In the cast, Camila Queiroz, Diogo Almeida, Mariana Ximenes, Thiago Lacerda, Daniel Rangel, Carmo Dalla Vecchia, Juliana Alves, Levi Asaf, among others.

Júlio prevents Marê from advancing against Gilda. Luís makes up an excuse to get away from Cândida and look for Tânia. Gilda surprises Popó, Marê and Júlio in her office. Marê delivers the necklace to the thief, who is surprised by Friar Severo. The priests convince the thief to redeem himself and return the stolen objects. Tânia tells Neiva about Luís, and Adélia is suspicious. Luís makes up an excuse for Cândida. Gilda humiliates Popó. Gaspar mocks Gilda. Adélia tells Gilda that Marê applied for a position to work at Companhia Ferroviária, and the villain plots with Turíbio. Friar Severo recalls his past and consoles himself with Friar Leão. Marê does well in her job interview. Gaspar is surprised by Gilda’s calmness when he talks to her about his ex-fiancée’s new job. Turíbio publishes a headline in Gazeta defaming Marê.

Wednesday, May 3rd

Gaspar is surprised by the headline in the Gazeta. Neiva worries about Marê. Júlio and Verônica are outraged by the article against Marê. Orlando gets angry when he sees the newspaper and ends up arrested after confronting Turíbio. Marê is surprised to learn that his position at the Railway Company was turned down. Albuquerque is hostile towards Orlando. Popó tells Júlio that the doctor has been arrested. Gilda comments to Ítalo that she intends to end the partnerships that Marê got for the Hotel. Marê sees the headline in Gazeta and is devastated. Lívia tells Marê about Orlando’s arrest. Gilda instructs Turíbio to lie in his statement. Marê and Marcelino try to cheer up Orlando. Ione decides to go to the police station after talking to Gilda. Gilda pays Orlando’s bail.

Ivan tells Luís that he will help him stay with Tânia. Marê starts working at Wanda’s store. Cândida tells Gilda about Marê’s job, and the villain is disgusted. Cândida catches Luís and Ivan fighting and tries to find out why. Gilda demands that Sílvio force Wanda to fire Marê. Marê tells Neiva that she became attached to Marcelino. Orlando invites Marê to live with him. The priests receive a telegram from the Bishop.

Marê realizes that it was Gilda who denounced her. Marcelino cries, afraid that Marê will leave. Orlando offers to help his girlfriend. Marê explains how Wanda can manage her store. Gilda has an idea to keep her ex-stepdaughter away from Wanda’s store. Celeste comforts Marcelino. Veronica tells Odilon that Turíbio has gone to Rio de Janeiro. The priests meet to write a response to the Bishop. Turíbio finds Elza and Odilon. Gilda conspires with Sílvio against Marê. Cândida discovers that Luís was expelled from the seminary and faints. Turíbio tells Fabiano that Elza ran away with Odilon. Wanda toasts with Sílvio and Gilda to the success of her store. Three men destroy Wanda’s shop.
