Pérola Faria discovers the baby's gender alongside her fiancé

Actress Pérola Faria and actor Mario Bregieira discovered the sex of their child during a gender reveal party held on Saturday afternoon (12) in Rio de Janeiro. Joaquim is the name of the couple's first child. Carla Diaz, a friend of Pérola, was present and posted videos of the moment she discovered that Pérola was expecting a boy. In 2010, Carla and Pérola worked together on the soap opera 'Rebelde', on Rede Record.

The actress' most recent work was in the soap opera 'Genesis', where she played the character 'Khen'. Her fiancé, Mario, will be in the new biblical production, 'Reis'. Both productions are from Rede Record.

In January, Pérola announced her engagement to actor Mario Bregieira. On the last day of the month, the actress revealed to her followers that she was engaged through a post on Instagram. In the post, the brunette published a photo that shows her hand with the engagement ring, in the next photo the bouquet and in the last photo, a smiling selfie next to her fiancé right after the proposal.

Still in the caption of the post, Pérola declared her love for her fiancé.

“All the stories they had alone filled the script of the current film. All the encounters they had without any intention of getting closer wove the admiration that came to exist. All the short reviews made many curiosities about each other emerge.”, began the actress. Pérola and Mario met during the filming of the soap opera Gênesis.

“All the longer conversations revealed more things in common than they thought. And then, each meeting was about showing destiny that the desire to have someone for life was real.”, concluded Pearl.

In an interview with Quem, the actress talked about the surprise. “We couldn't travel now because he's starting to record, so he gave us a beautiful surprise right here!”, said Pérola. The request was made on January 27th.

Pérola says she always dreamed of getting married, but over time the idea faded and confesses that her fiancé, Mario, made her recover dreams that were dormant. The actress also says that Mario “saved the essence” hers.
