Post Malone announces date for new album “F-1 TRILLION”

This Tuesday (18), Post Malone surprised fans by announcing the release date of his new album. “F-1 TRILLION” will arrive in physical stores and digital streaming platforms this summer, on August 16th. After venturing into country in his latest projects, the expectation is that the rapper will invest in the musical genre once again.

This time, the 28-year-old singer took to social media and released a photo of a billboard with the following message: “The name of Post Malone’s new album is F-1 TRILLION.”

Like the name, the illustration references competition cars. Over the years, the rapper has been invited to major Formula 1 events, such as the Singapore Grand Prix, and had already worked on the concept of racing in the music video for “Motley Crew”. So far, there is no information about the official tracklist for “F-1 TRILLION”. But, it seems that Post will delve deeper into the “American country” for the development of his sixth discography album.

Malone in Country

In 2022, Post Malone showed a certain indication of what was to come. The musician was a declared fan of country music, performing a cover of the classic “Cocaine Blues”, by Johnny Cash, alongside Billy Strings. During an interview with Howard Stern in the same year, Malone commented that nothing would stop him from “grab a camera, go into the studio to record a country album and put it on YouTube.”

This year, Post shared the stage with Hardy and Morgan Wallen at “The CMA Awards”, the main awards show for the country genre in the United States. He and Wallen later teamed up for the track “I Had Some Help”. Last week, Post returned to sing with Billy at the Bonnaroo festival, where he was headliner of the event.
