'Presepada' music video reaches 100 million views on YouTube

This Wednesday (26) the music video for 'Presepada' reached 100 million views on YouTube. Part of the album 'Patroas 35%', a partnership between Marília Mendonça and Maiara and Maraisa, the song is also in the Top 50 Brazil on Spotify. This is the third video of the project that hits this mark.

With lyrics about a man who doesn't value his girlfriend and how one person's mistakes can negatively impact another within a relationship, Maiara shared on her social networks a video creating 'Presepada', in which she appears alongside Marília. Recently, at a festival in Camboriú, Maraisa revealed that the lyrics were written for Maiara and Fernando Zor.

We made this song for someone I don't know, it's a secret, I can't tell who it was for, one day you'll find out”, He said pointing to his sister. “It was the last pen I made with Marília, the last composition. And she wanted to give this message, in whatever way she wanted to talk about it.” Maiara also revealed that it was the queen of suffering's last composition: ''This was the last song Marília made, it was with Maraísa”.

In addition to 'Presepada', the project 'Patroas 35%', which was nominated for a Latin Grammy last year, has 8 more songs. They are:

After Marília's death following a plane crash in November 2021, Maiara and Maraisa have not yet decided whether they will continue with the album tour. Despite this, according to them, ''the public will always be the third voice''. “As long as Maiara and Maraisa are on a stage, our Queen's memory will be remembered in the best possible way. We ask everyone to be our third voice, to give us strength in these difficult days and for music to win once again!'', said Maraisa on her Twitter.
