Preta Gil says she feels sorry for Silvio Santos in her autobiography

Brazilian actress and singer, Preta Gil (50), spoke, in a new book, about the saddening participation she made in “Silvio Santos Program” in 2018 and showed unfortunate comments made by the late presenter. During the book, the actress talked about the discovery of rectal cancer in January 2023. In May of the same year, during chemotherapy treatment, Gil almost died after facing a very serious generalized infection in the body. The bacteria responsible for the attack on the celebrity's body also caused pneumonia and pancreatitis.

The absence of her then husband, Rodrigo Godoy, was a determining factor in the couple's separation. After physical trauma and battles in surgery to combat cancer, the artist discovered betrayal by her partner, who was caught in photos with the actress' makeup artist. All the difficulties over 50 years of life are narrated in the book “The first 50”.

Despite the hurt, respect comes first
