PSG loses in injury time victory in spectacle :- Paris Saint-Germain has Friday at the last minute points left in the Ligue 1. The brand new national champion played by a goal in injury time with a 3-3 draw at RC Strasbourg. In Spain, number two Sevilla dropped points at home against Cádiz: 1-1.

PSG fell behind after only three minutes due to a goal by Kévin Gameiro. Twenty minutes later, Kylian Mbappé levelled the score after a brilliant pass from Neymar.

Mbappé also provided the assist on achraf Hakimi’s 1-2 after more than an hour of play. Four minutes later, the Frenchman seemed to decide the game from a counter, but Habib Diallo brought the tension back a quarter of an hour before time.

In injury time, Anthony Caci saved a point for Strasbourg.

Georginio Wijnaldum and Xavi Simons both remained on the bench at PSG, which last weekend for the tenth time in the club’s history became national champion. Strasbourg climbs through the tie to fifth place.

Sevilla must fear for second place

In La Liga, Sevilla must fear for second place due to the draw against Cádiz. The team of coach Julen Lopetegui took the lead at home in the seventh minute through a sharp header from Youssef En Nesyri.

Midway through the second half, Lucas Pérez brought Cádiz to the same level in brilliant fashion. The Spanish forward curled a free kick from about 20 yards into the left corner. Karim Rekik was missing due to an injury at Sevilla.

Because of the draw, Sevilla can lose second place on Sunday to FC Barcelona, which is one point behind and plays at home against Real Mallorca.

Leader Real Madrid has a big lead and can secure the national title on Saturday in the home game against Espanyol.
