Queen Elizabeth Turns Forbidden Drinks Into Masterpiece.
It seems that the Queen of England was not at all happy with the ban she was given and decided to find a way to escape and drink her drinks. A member of the British royal family may have revealed an unusual secret about a secret passage inside one of Queen Elizabeth II's official residences.
According to columnist Richard Eden of the British tabloid Daily MailPrincess Eugenie's (Elizabeth's granddaughter) husband Jack Brooksbank revealed earlier this month that St. James's Palace is connected by a tunnel to Dukes bar – a place where royalty, nobility and high society usually meet for drinks together.

“I haven't used it yet, but I'd love to check it out”Brooksbank said, he lived in the palace for years before eventually marrying Eugenie and moving to Windsor Castle. If the report is true, the tunnel would be 300 meters long to connect the castle to the five-star bar. The venue is well known for serving martinis – Queen Elizabeth II's favorite drink – and can cost 17 pounds, the equivalent of R$170 today.
This would not be the royal family's first secret passage, according to the American magazine Vanity Fairwho also reported the doctor's recommendation that the Queen be kept away from drinking, said that Elizabeth has other means of escaping when she wants to. At Buckingham Palace, for example, they have a secret passage in the White Drawing Room, a room that the royal family uses for meetings and audiences, and there is a door that leads to the Queen's chambers and is disguised as a mirror.
In Windsor Castle, there is a secret tunnel that is used as an escape route for the British royal family in case of an attack on the palace and is hidden under a carpet in one of their offices, but it is not known which one and that it was built around 1200.
