Rayssa Leal parades with the Fire Department in her hometown
This Wednesday (14), Rayssa Leal paraded in the Imperatriz Fire Department truck, in Maranhão. The skater was received with great celebrations and tributes on the streets and also at the school itself, to which she returned today for her first day of school after the Paris games.
The Fairy shines for the second time
With the debut of skateboarding at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, Brazil began to love another sport. Rayssa Leal's participation in the sport made the athlete a celebrity on Brazilian soil. At the age of 13, Fadinha became an Olympic medalist and brought her country an unprecedented and unexpected silver medal.
The skateboarder’s achievement didn’t stop there. A year after the games in Japan, Rayssa, at 14 years old, achieved the title of world champion. At the Rio headquarters, Super Crown was attended by the biggest names in the world of skateboarding. The athlete was applauded by the fans and won the World Skate Street League.

In order not to take a break from her titles, the Brazilian placed herself on the podium at the Pan-American Games in Santiago. Due to the debut of the sport in the competition, Rayssa was the first Skate Street champion in this tournament.
In 2024, Fadinha took another medal to the trophy shelf. Now 16 years old, the skateboarder floated on French soil, broke historic records and climbed onto the third place podium alongside Japanese players Coco Yoshizawa and Liz Akama. Bronze was received by Brazilians with a taste for gold.

Back to the Empress
After 20 days of the Olympics, Rayssa Leal returns to the usual life of a teenager in her second year of high school. However, in addition to parading with firefighters and signing autographs in the city, Cebama school welcomed the student with a warm heart to welcome the Olympic medalist. Speeches, murals and photos about Rayssa's newest achievement marked the skateboarder's first day of school.
Now with two Olympic Games medals around her neck, Fadinha returns to her study routine alongside her classmates.
