During his last show of the world tour in the United States, entitled 'The Eras Tour'singer and songwriter Taylor Swift announced the re-recording of his 5th studio album, '1989 (Taylor's Version)'scheduled for release on October 27th. Furthermore, the new album will feature five new tracks called 'From the Vault' of the album. According to Taylor herself, this is her “favorite” re-recording and the new songs are “insane”, the singer said on her social media.

Re-recordings

Since the start of her world tour, Swift has released re-recordings of her first six studio albums during 'The Eras Tour' shows. The goal is to gain total control over his music, which was taken away from him when he left his former record label, Big Machine Records.

Taylor has already released the re-recordings of 3 studio albums. They are: 'Fearless (Taylor's Version)', 'Red (Taylor's Version)' and 'Speak Now (Taylor's Version)'. After the announcement of '1989 (Taylor's Version)' this Thursday (10), there are only two albums left for the singer to have full rights to her songs.

When her former record label was sold to American businessman Scooter Braun, Taylor lost the rights to her first six studio albums. In contrast, the composer decided to re-record her albums so that she would once again have the license over her songs. “I can do it again”Swift said on a TV show. The suit 'Taylor's Version'appeared as a way of saying that it is a new version, however, by the same singer.

It is important to remember that Taylor Swift's new tour, 'The Eras Tour', will pass through Brazil in November this year. The singer will perform six shows in the country, at the Allianz Parque and Engenhão stadiums.
