Regina Duarte opens up about being rejected in the artistic world

In an interview, Regina Duarte spoke about her attempt to return to the stage after holding the position of Special Secretary of Culture during the government of former president Jair Bolsonaro. The actress also revealed that she faced a huge rejection and admitted that she was not prepared for the role she accepted.

Regina stated that after leaving her position, which lasted only a few months, she tried to return to the stage, but her attempts were not successful, as her texts were not approved. Reported: “They didn't want to get involved with me for their reasons, which I completely understand.” Regina also reported that, because of this, she was in a kind of “limbo” in the artistic world.

After unsuccessful attempts on stage, the artist decided to explore new horizons. She started a project as a visual artist and held an exhibition of her works in São Paulo. On this day Regina was attended by her friends and fans.

Despite all the repercussions, the actress reported that she did not regret her inclusion in politics and described the experience as very enriching. However, he regretted the fact that he was unable to dedicate time to the cinema library, his great passion, due to promises that did not materialize as planned. Regina Duarte reported that due to her long history and career on television, her family was opposed to her foray into politics. However, she decided to go ahead and live this experience.
