Remake of space horror game Dead Space to be released in January 2023

space horror game Dead Space – The remake Dead Space will be released on January 27, 2023, publisher EA has announced via Twitter. The space horror game can be played on the PC, PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X and S.

The original Dead Space hit the market in 2008. The game takes place on a spaceship that has been taken over by hostile aliens. As a player, you have to repair your ship and find your partner.

You do that by surviving not only the aliens but also the scares.

For the remake, levels have been rebuilt from scratch. The graphical style, such as the lighting, has also been improved so that the game can compete with modern games.

The remake of Dead Space was announced last year. The game is made by EA Motive, the studio that was previously responsible for Star Wars: Squadrons, among other things.

Three Dead Space games have been made in the past. It is not known whether the two sequels to Dead Space will also be redeveloped.
