“Suddenly, out of nowhere, I felt the icy skin of someone's hands cupping my bare breasts. I instinctively pulled away, looked back, and saw it was Robin Thicke. He smirked and took a few steps back, his eyes hidden by the sunglasses. My head turned away when I heard Diane's voice shouting, 'Are you okay?'” reports the actress.

Ratajkowski also comments that he spent a lot of time avoiding thinking about the case, and for that reason he had not made the accusations publicly. Emily stated that she wanted to “protect the image” of Diana, who created a safe environment for the models on set.

The director even confirmed the accusations made by Emily Ratajkowsk in an interview with The Sunday Times. “I remember the moment he did it, he grabbed one of her breasts in each hand. He was behind her. I screamed in my Brooklyn accent, 'What the f*** are you doing? It's over for today, that's enough. !'. Robin later apologized.”reported Diana Martel.

The song's lyrics and music video itself were heavily criticized during 2013 and 2014, for having a connotation related to sex without consent. Singer Pharrell Williams, who collaborates on the song, stated, some time later, that he was “embarrassed” by the content. Thicke, on the other hand, has always defended “Blurred Lines”. In 2013, he told the BBC that critics had misunderstood the lyrics. In 2015, it guaranteed the NY Times: “I have never and would never write a song with any negative connotations like that.”
