Rock in Rio announces full line-up for the Supernova Stage for the 2024 edition

On the afternoon of this Thursday (01), Rock In Rio announced the complete line-up of the Supernova Stage for the 2024 edition. The stage is considered “indie” and was present at the festival in the last two editions, 2019 and 2022.

Among the attractions are: Nina Fernandes, Nagalli Magic Show, DJ Topo, Major RD, The Box, WC No Beat, Zaynara, Cynthia Luz and many others.

In total, more than 30 artists will take the stage.

This year, the location of the Supernova Stage will be close to New Dance Order and Espaço Favela.

The stage program was designed to bring emerging artists and expand musical diversity, in addition to names already established and loved by the public. The 2024 edition was curated by Sony Music.

In the 2022 edition, Supernova featured attractions from artists such as Cone Crew Direia, MC Poze do Rodo, Mariah Nala, Jovem Dionisio, a band that broke through with the hit “Acorda Pedrinho”, and much more.

Luiz Justo, CEO of Rock in Rio, spoke a little about the Supernova Stage and expectations for this year's edition.

“We wanted to have a space where we could bring artists who are already building successful careers. And Supernova is a stage that is gaining more and more prominence. This year, it gains a space with a different dimension, with a very cool positioning.”says the CEO. He adds that, in the future, the stars who will perform on the World Stage will have passed through Supernova.

According to Zé Ricardo, artistic director of Rock in Rio, Supernova “It has DNA that talks about diversity, it has a lot of Rock in Rio DNA.”

The 2024 edition celebrates 40 years of the festival and will take place on the 13th, 14th, 15th, 19th, 20th, 21st and 22nd of September in Cidade do Rock, Rio de Janeiro.
