Rock in Rio releases pre-sales of tickets for the 2022 edition

Rock in Rio will open pre-sales for tickets this Thursday (17th) at 7pm. At first, tickets are intended for Rock in Rio Club members and customers with Itaú cards. This portion of the public will be able to register their presence at one of the biggest music festivals until April 4th. The general sale takes place on April 5th at 7pm.

Tickets can be purchased through the official website of the Ingresso.com and prices vary between R$ 625.00 (full price) and R$ 312.50 (half price). People who will make purchases with Itaú cards during this pre-sale will receive some benefits, such as a 15% discount on purchases and installment payments in up to eight interest-free installments.

Festival that would take place in 2020 and due to Covid-19 had to be postponed until 2022, promises to rock the city of Rio de Janeiro in the first two weekends of September. Last year the event broke a record when, within a few hours of opening sales, the batch of 200,000 Rock in Rio Cards sold out. Fans who purchased the card last year have until April 1st to choose the days they want to go, otherwise they will lose the option to choose the day.

There are many expectations and news for this edition. New spaces and stages were announced by the organization and this Thursday it was announced that the event was declared an intangible cultural heritage of Rio de Janeiro. The performances in the city of rock begin on the weekend of the 2nd and end on the 11th of September. The line-up features artists such as: Justin Bieber, Iza, Iron Maiden, Dua Lipa, Post Malone, Coldplay, Green Day, Demi Lovato, Djavan, Guns N' Roses among others.
