Ronaldo equals World Record
Cristiano Ronaldo equalled the world record for most international goals on Wednesday. With his 109th goal for Portugal, the 36-year-old forward equals Iranian former footballer Ali Daei.
Ronaldo drew 2-2 with France in the group game on Wednesday. It is juventus’ fifth goal of the European Championship. He made three of them from the spot.
In the first group game against Hungary (3-0), Ronaldo already crowned himself the european championship top scorer of all time. He previously shared that record with Frenchman Michel Platini.
Ronaldo equals World Record
Ronaldo now stands at 21 goals at World Cups and European Championships. That puts him past German Miroslav Klose, who stands at 19.
For Ronaldo, it is his fifth participation in a European Championship. No player did that to him. Moreover, he scored at all these tournaments.
