The Palmeiras striker revealed advice from Abel Ferreira and also celebrated his performance against Cerro Porteño. According to Rony, he made a strong internal charge and said he became suspicious after missing a good goal opportunity during the first stage. The player highlighted the importance of mental strength to overcome the dry period in his career.

“I’m happy for the two assists, much happier for the victory and also for the goal. I was already pushing myself a lot, but it is logical that with the support of my team, I had the opportunity to score the goal today, I had an opportunity in the first half, and of course the suspicion comes ‘wow, you will not score again ?’, but thank God I kept my head very calm and, the other opportunity I had, I would have to score the goal.
