After becoming a trend in 2009, Rouge G lipstick, designed by Lorenz Baumer, was reinvented in Paris by Violette, director of Guerlain Makeup. Rouge G stands out for its chrome-plated metal and classic mirror that make it timeless.
Violette brings item back to the beauty world
A reference in the world of makeup, Parisian Violette started as creative director of Guerlain in 2021 and has as one of her main objectives to bring to light classics already launched by the maison and, with her initiative, brought back Rouge G in 40 matte shades, with a satin and velvety touch, in colors such as red, orange and plum.
During the press release for the Rouge G remodeling, Violette stated that it was challenging to deliver the new version of the lipstick, which is already Guerlain's flagship product. The director also emphasized that the idea was to bring it a more youthful and light character in both its composition and packaging.

Changes in Rouge G
It is worth mentioning that Rouge G was introduced with some changes to its mirrored cases, which now have nine versions of the jewel cases for all 40 available shades. In addition, it also brought a sustainable look by adopting 89% of skincare-based ingredients, such as production from natural waxes and lily oil extract, which makes the lipstick resistant for a period of eight hours.
In a new phase that easily encompasses all skin tones, Rouge G returns to the success it had previously and should once again become the darling of beauty.
