“Royal Decrees, Vol 3.” – Discover Marília Mendonça’s new posthumous project

Marília Mendonça's fans were surprised on Wednesday (15) with an enigmatic announcement that said that the country singer's social networks had been hacked. However, it was all just a marketing ploy to promote the singer's third posthumous project.

“Royal Decrees, Vol. 3” arrived on streaming platforms on Thursday (16) with four songs on its tracklist. They are: “Hackearam me”, “Cumbia Do Amor”, “Infiel/ Amante Não Tem Lar” and “What’s missing in you is me”. One of the highlights of the EP, “Cumbia Do Amor”was immortalized in the voice of Joelma and gained a new version in the voice of Marília.

The visual records of “Royal Decrees, Vol. 3” will be made available on the artist's official YouTube channel this Friday (17). The project “Royal Decrees” features songs recorded by Marília Mendonça during the live “Serenade”held in May 2021.

The singer's first posthumous release took place on July 21, 2022 and brought versions of “I Love You Too Much”, “I Love You, What More Can I Say”, “It Wasn’t Meant to Be Like This” and “Being Like This/Very Strange (Take Good Care of Me)”. The biggest success of “Royal Decrees, Vol. 1” is the track “I Love You Too Much”which has more than 107.5 million plays on Spotify alone.

On December 9, 2022, it was released “Royal Decrees, Vol. 2”which had the following successes: “Leão”, “Pra Falar A Verdade”, Morango Do Nordeste”, “Café Da Manhã”, “Nem É Bom Rememberer” and “An Extra Life”. Thanks to the compilation, Marília was the most listened to singer in Brazil for 69 consecutive weeks. “Lion” It was the song that stood out the most on the EP.
